Herman Hesse Museum.
Inspired by this nice village overlooking the lovely Lugano town in Switzerland, Hesse wrote great works such as Siddhartha (showing the love and respect for Indian culture and Buddhist philosophy) Steppenwolf and painted bright landscapes as well.
He never supported the Nazi movement and attempted to work against Hitler's suppression of art and literature that protested Nazi ideology. He moved (with his family to Switzerland). Most people do not know that ended his last days in Lugano (canton of Ticino Switzerland), where he moved in 1919, at the age of 42, and found it to be ideal to quell the turbulence he was experiencing in his life.
