“Someone who never met God on Earth, would never meet Him in space" I find this to be a remarkable quote from the first human to journey into outer space, the first human that ever saw the earth from outside, when his ‘Vostok spacecraft’ completed an orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961. Some people have disputed the authenticity of it and said that it was a made up phrase by Nikita Khrushchev's speech at the plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU. I still believe that Yuri Gagarin was an a man of reason and science, where there is no room for a ‘God’ In Russian.... Narcissus pondered a great deal about his friend. His special gift of spotting and emotionally recognizing the nature and destiny of others had long since told him about Goldmund.
